This heavyweight poster is a comprehensive map of lift-served skiing in Vermont—including everything from big resorts to municipal ski hills. Uncolored icons represent private ski resorts. Personal, backyard ski tows (and Vermont has a few) do not appear on the map. We salute their efforts and respect their privacy. It should come as no surprise that ski tows are so popular here—America's very first ski tow was constructed in Woodstock in 1934. The stylized, shaded relief map also depicts major rivers and lakes, as well as US interstates.
