This decorative checklist poster features all 433 official units in the United States National Park System as well as Affiliated Areas. Each unit has an icon where a pin could be placed, in addition to the entire park area being tinted on the map. Trails, rivers, seashores and parkways managed by the National Park Service are also outlined for their entire distance. Insets along the right side magnify Boston, New York City and Washington DC—which have the highest concentrations of NPS properties. The stylized, shaded relief map depicts mountains, rivers and lakes, but is clear of general labels to ensure the National Park System units are the star of the show. This poster is perfect for National Park passport carriers or anyone who loves touring our national treasures.
