Wyoming’s ski areas are known for dramatic mountain scenery, abundant snowfall, and access to some of the most rugged terrain in the Rocky Mountains. The state’s largest and most famous resort is Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village, renowned for its steep slopes and views of the towering Grand Teton in nearby Grand Teton National Park. Other ski areas such as Snow King Mountain in Jackson and White Pine Ski Area near Pinedale provide smaller, community-focused slopes. With wide-open landscapes, deep powder, and relatively uncrowded terrain, Wyoming’s ski areas offer a distinctly western skiing experience set amid some of the most iconic mountains in the United States.
