This heavyweight poster is a comprehensive map of lift-served skiing in Vermont—including everything from big resorts to municipal ski hills. Uncolored icons represent private ski resorts. Personal, backyard ski tows (and Vermont has a few) do not appear on the map. We salute their efforts and respect their privacy. It should come as no surprise that ski tows are so popular here; America's very first ski tow was constructed in Woodstock in 1934. The stylized, shaded relief map also depicts major rivers and lakes, as well as US interstates.
