This poster maps out summits in Northeast with 2000' or more of prominence. The list includes the top 42 of the 'New England Fifty Finest' plus 13 P2Ks in New York. Since prominence lists tend to be more spread out they are great for getting climbers to explore more isolated peaks in new areas. Each mountain on the map is labeled with its summit elevation and prominence. In a few cases, a nearby peak might be higher which means it would take its neighbor's place on this list. Such peaks are marked with lighter coloring on the map. If you want to be sure you've finished the list the safe bet is to climb them both! If you're already working on the 50 Finest, this is a great list to get you out to New York's most prominent peaks as well.
