One of the greatest adventures in U.S. travel is collecting the 50 state highpoints!

The list below was updated in 2022 using LiDAR data (the latest and greatest in topography technology). LiDAR elevations are not yet available for the highpoints of AK, SD, or KY. The change worth noting is that the traditional Mount Davis summit is not the true Pennsylvania state highpoint. LiDAR has revealed the actual state highpoint to be 1 mile to the north—and it's reportedly a hellacious bushwhack to get there. ☹

Difficulty score is determined by Martin Classification of Difficulty for U.S. State Highpoints and is based on the easiest standard route.
